How do I log in?
Hey there, assuming you already have the WotLK downloaded and setup all you need to do is change the realmlist to the one in the listing “set realmlist logon.warmane.com” and then you can login with your account you created for Warmane on their site.
PVP means thath you cant play PVE??
A PVP realm just means that you’re flagged for PVP automatically when in contested territory. You can still do all PVE.

– Download the game client
– Start the game client using WoW.exe, not Launcher.exe
– Log in using your Warmane account name, not email address
So what exactly do i have to do , i think I missed the big update and now i have 3 chars on Neltharion that i “don’t need more” ? Pls tell me there is way to transfer my chars or atleast one to the new and who exactly is the new realm list 🙂
I see on expansion select theres Wrath of the Lich King and Wrath of the Lich King (Old), what’s the difference?
The one marked (Old) has the original models, the other one has the updated models from WoD.
I downloaded pandaria, can i still play on icecrown somehow as all of my friends are there XD i saw it too late
You would need to download the client for Wrath of the Lich King to play on Warmane’s Icecrown realm, you can how to do that here:

the server actually has 12000 players, so flag it as 5000+ not 2500-5000
Unfortunately that is not true, we manually reviewed the active population in December across multiple times slots and they are averaging less than 5000 players on this realm.
Your estimation is wrong, you cant measure population since you can only fit 50 ppl through the who window. There is a vast majority at lvl 80 which cant be measured due to that cap. Also the who list has a cooldown on two mins so you cant measure it.
How is the server running these days? are quests and some bosses still having issues?
The server is running as usual. I dont know which quests and bosses you speak of but vault of archavon master loot is still a bug.
So i can log in all fine, however when it gets to the part where it recommends a realm it shows a blank realm page. I’ve tried resetting but to no avail. Any help on this would be much appreciated.

My review of warmane’s icecrown
Positive
+ Population (You can find groups for everything including low lvl dungeons and low lvl bgs)
+ The economy (Since the population is so big the economy is very healthy)
+ Warmane has been up and running for years which shows which means they will probably remain for years to come.
Negative
-The economy (The gold squish is bad for the server, it causes the economy to go apeshit. 3 months before and after the prices are screwed and it causes people to buy and sell in large quantities which crashes the market. The rich people on the server can escape the gold squish by buying portable holes for 3k gold and after gold squish selling them for 2.8k gold. Their money isnt halved at all. Unfair to people who are leveling or are poor.
– Gold and character sellers flood your chat in trade and global, which makes it hard for players to actually find groups and purchase items. The fact that they allow this to be written in global and trade is absurd.
-The pvp scaling system doesn’t work as intended, people with full bis trinkets and shadowmourne can queue into the lower brackets in bgs with people who have 0-4k gs.
-The scripting is in my opinion below average compared to gamer-district, true-wow and sunwell-wow.
Other wotlk servers are either lacking or dropping in player numbers and I think this is the only wotlk realm able to survive the launch of classic wow. If you want to play wotlk, this is where you should play . You know that warmane just wont disappear or die like other pservers.
Hi all, So I have the wotlk download and it works fine and all but when I enter a realm/server (Icecrown or Lordareon) it shows the burning crusade loading page? even though I downloaded the wotlk? Sorry new to wow and a bit confused.
Hi. I downloaded WOTLK Client and it says Patch Required, I go to restart WoW and it says Failed to apply patch. Is there a specific problem or something I can do to fix other than reinstall it? Thanks.

Is there a minimum system requirement for a mac? I am running OS 10.11.6 El Capitan. I’ve downloaded the mac file a few times now and the dialog box states the application cannot be opened. (I am not using the launcher btw)
Any help is appreciated. Can’t wait to join this community!

Average waiting in que to join the server is 600+ minutes, make more realms. Everything else is just fine.

P2W. You can’t play PvP in this server if you are not a donor. Shadowmourne players are everywhere. %60 of population paladin,warrior,dk and too many toxic players.

Absolutely awful server. Not only is it grossly pay-2-win but it is also infested with huge groups of multi-boxers in both open world and in Battlegrounds which completely ruin any sort of PVP enjoyability. Server owners and/or moderators all seem oblivious to any sort of feedback and while you might be able to live with this as a PvE player, i’m sorry to report it also has some really awkward lag going on and hordes of gold spammers in every city.
Avoid this trashheap of a server.
The Server population is consistently packed/near capacity, so finding enough people to do things is rarely an issue. The scripting is mostly bug free, and the content is full featured to the original game. Latency is much more consistent that some other servers.
Multiboxxing however is quite rampant, even encouraged and financially entangled with the server and its staff, and represents a significant and recurring theme of disruption in many of the events of the game. It’s very difficult to find a battleground for instance without some player multiboxxing sometimes up to 8 other characters following them in sequence while they stomp everyone in sight with instant AoE ability and spell macros. It can even disrupt normal gameplay if a multiboxxer comes to your main city and kills the auction house NPC while you’re interacting with it, a more than common occurrence.
Very good for a private server, but very disappointing if you want to avoid multi-boxxing and other cheap tricks.
multiboxers in every WG, no way to get inside once you lose it. Horde will have it for next few days at least
While the server runs nice and has almost no bugs, the community is just the worst.
Almost every neutral quest hub gets ganked, as a new player without max-lvl mates or a solid guild you will have a bad time
Perfect realm. But once when we were doing bane run on Icecrown had an server crash^^
My opinion is that warmane servers suck, People is too toxic, lot of raids stealing items and they dont get banned, Meanwhile warmane Dumb staff is banning people for dumb stuff when pay2win players report.
Have been hours trying to assemble a raid and people just dont come.

pay2win server, comunity is toxic and gms are useless, Id recommend Mograine instead of any warmane server
Pay to Win server. On this server can play only donaters, I play on it 2-3 yers. Administration can ban you cz some boxer or donater report you, they have priority to ban all who they don’t like it, but you can’t ban donater or Multiboxer even for cheating. If you are not donater on this server, when you are not player, you are fresh meat for donater and boxer.
And don’t lose you time on there Forum, moderator will delete all your bad review about donate, Multiboxing or about mechanic of game what they don’t want to fix it, or maybe they are too stupid to fix it.

Worst server ever. They won’t retrieve your account at any cost, unless you pay them. It’s a classic P2W server. Played for over a decade here, when it was MoltenWoW. Now? It’s just another money-making server, no service, staff very unfriendly, and kids with money.
Best server to test ur botting and hacking softwares, like many of them do.

Gms don’t ban hackers, or they ban ’em for like 2-3 days. After pushing ’em and constantly making tickets(~500 tickets) with video evidences and so on, they banned me for telling ’em to “get their heads out of their asses and start doing work”. Perfect server to test ur botting/scripting/hacking in any shape/kind/form.
